A top competitive game between two good sides who played open and attractive football with chances at either end. The scoreline does in no way reflect the excellent performance but at 3-1, Waverton took risks to try to get back into the game but conceded a further two goals. Excellent performances but a well taken goal from Adam Goldthorpe earned him a man of the match award.
A pleasing performance if not disappointing result.
